Loving Right Now...

We all love jewelry and if you're just like me, well you definitely have a favorite designer. Mine? Tamar Wider of The 2 Bandits. A mix of edgy and boho, her stuff is super cool and trendy. Here are some of the reasons why her jewelry just calls out my name and I am sure it will call yours out too! (Attached here are some of my favorite pieces for the collection)

1. Her bangles and cuffs! Need I say more? Well yes, I can go on about how they're perfect for layering or to just simply wear alone. I have yet to see details such as the ones she incorporates into her "arm party" in any other collection!

2. I love collar necklaces. Chokers are definitely my thing and there's no denying that The 2 Bandits makes some pretty sick ones. With stones, with out, open, closed, Tamar makes collars that go with just about anything.

3. THE EARRINGS! WOW! I mean who else can make Concho Wing Earrings? And seriously, who else can make bows look so tough?

4. Last but certainly not least, I am a sucker for rings. I like to pile them on or simply just wear one, with these rings, the possibilities are seriously endless!

Coveting | Fall Must Haves

Yes, it has been a while, but I think I am back for good. I think being out of a job for six month and now being somewhere new for the past 4 months has made me a bit "lazy" but I must say, I miss this very much. This is the only place where I can practice my creative writing with out being judged and it is the only place where I can write about what I love and what makes me happy.
So that being said, here are some of my faves for this fall season!

{Recipes} No Bake Nutella Cheesecakes

T.G.I.F! Yes, it's Friday and for some of us that means let loose! Or at least for me it usually means stock up on sweets, which is why when I stumbled upon this recipe, I couldn't help but share it with you. I have yet to try it out but rest assured that I will definitely be whipping up some No Bake Nutella Cheesecakes sometime this weekend.
 {recipe and images x My Baking Addiction}
Yield: 4-6 servings

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

For the Crust

12 Oreo Cookies, crushed into crumbs
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup Nutella
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed

For the Garnish

whipped topping, optional
chocolate shavings, optional
toasted, chopped hazelnuts, optional

Directions:

1. In a medium bowl, stir together the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Evenly divide the crumbs between your individual serving dishes and press into the bottoms of the dishes to form a crust layer.
2. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and Nutella until smooth. Add vanilla and mix to combine. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the whipped topping until well blended and no streaks remain.
3. Evenly pipe or spoon the filling into individual serving dishes. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
4. If desired, garnish with additional whipped topping, chocolate shavings, and/or toasted, chopped hazelnuts.

What Would I Do With Out Zara...

As you all may already know, I am absolutely obsessed with Zara! Their strict attention to detail along with their carefully though out designs and let us not forget those seriously tempting price tags, have pushed Zara to the forefront of cheap and chic fashion. Here's a sneak peek at their Spring 2012 collection. From sexy pastels to sequined collar shirts, I can assure you that you've never experienced shopping on a budget like this before!

Look Ma, No Hands...

As you all may already know, #FebPhotoaDay has commenced and yesterday was Day 3 which meant that our inspirational word was HANDS! Don't ask me why, but I was extremely excited about this one because I just happened to be wearing all of my favorite rings last night. From left to right, here's a breakdown of what's going on up there... David Yurman - this one was a gift given to me a few years ago and it's just one of those things that I've never taken off since then. Vintage Knuckle Ring - I found this beauty in my mom's jewelry chest which was given to her back in the 70's as gift. Nashelle - this one is an intricate piece that I just can't live with out. Tiffany & Co - again another gift. It's a simple silver band that says I Love You, another one that I just can't take off. Vintage - yet again another bauble from my mom's jewelry chest.

PS. I Have a Side Note
So I dyed my hair! I know it doesn't sound exciting but trust me it is! I've been dying to get the Ombre look but have never wanted to fork up the money to get it professionally done. Well last weekend I conjured up enough guts to do it myself. Yes, I DIYed my hair and I love it! Don't worry, I'll show you how to do it yourself too soon!

January Photo a Day Challenge

I am clearly obsessed with instagram! It's just one of those apps one just can't get enough of. Let's be honest now, it just makes everything and everyone that much prettier. Even on my worst days, instagram is always there for me. With all that being said, there was this fun challenge going around instagram, Twitter and Facebook called the January Photo a Day Challenge. In this challenge you had to post one picture everyday inspired by the item on the list pertaining to that day provided by fellow blogger Fat Mum Slim. Here's a recap of my #JanPhotoaDay challenge. Ejoy. xx

PS. I have a Side Note
There's a February Photo a Day Challenge which has already begun, so expect to see a new picture each day!

Tis the Season for Sequins and Glitter

Getting ready for the Holidays usually means weeks upon weeks of preparation. From the over stuffed Christmas tree to the food that goes on the table, prepping for December 24th takes time and dedication in particular when it comes to what I will be wearing.
So here's a sneak peek at what could possibly be my outfit for our annual Christmas Eve dinner... or shall I say "EXTRAVAGANZA!" Glitter nails and French macaroons included!
